Terry L. Tucker, OD
Dr. Tucker attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and earned his undergraduate degree and Optometric Doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee before coming to Lee County in 1985. While at Southern College of Optometry, Dr Tucker was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Fraternity. Besides maintaining his own private practice, he has been a consultant to the Veterans Administration Clinic.
Dr. Tucker is a past president of the Florida Optometric Association and is active in the Southern Council of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry and the Southwest Florida Optometric Association. He currently serves as a Proctor for State Board Exam.
Dr. Tucker is a past president for North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, past membership director of Boy Scouts of America, and is past president of the North Fort Myers Rotary Club and has been named Rotarian of the year. His Hobbies include fishing, golf and spending time with his family.
Dr. Tucker currently resides in North Fort Myers with his wife Carol and daughter Hailey. |
